What happens when increasingly capable artificial intelligence can do more and more for us?

We are beginning a new research project exploring whether AI can expand human capacity without displacing human sovereignty, volition or agency.

The project begins with a simple proposition:

AI may expand human capacity without replacing human identity.

We are investigating what this might require at the level of human–AI interaction, system design and ultimately implementation.

The work is currently exploratory. It is not presented as a finished theory or established standard.

It is an unfolding research project.
